Larry’s approach to analyzing copy is different than most. He focuses on what he calls “The Scales of Voiceover” like learning the scales on a musical instrument. He has found that when you can easily distinguish the “scales” which are phrases, the ideas within those phrases, and beats within the ideas; your natural communicative instincts take over to bring the meaning out and the struggle with a script dissipates. Larry is a masterful teacher that will make you think. He doesn’t just bombard you with data. He lets you discover the answers to his questions so that the information and techniques are remembered.
