About Donna
Donna Grillo is a Casting and Voice Director who specializes in Animation Acting for cartoons, video games, and commercials. With over 500 episodes of produced television shows her work can be seen on a daily basis on iconic shows such as Spongebob Squarepants (which according to Guinness World Records, after 23 years on the air, is still the most popular children's TV show in the world), The Fairly Oddparents, Invader Zim, Barbie: Dreamtopia and a slew of other productions. When the pandemic hit she switched her focus from casting shows to producing voiceover demos and teaching voiceover acting. Donna felt that the quality of demo samples that were being produced weren’t serving the actors. Since she knew what she was looking for as a casting director she took it upon herself to jump into producing demos that truly give producers and advertising agencies an idea of an actor's skills. She then turned her focus on teaching voiceover acting and sharing the ins and outs of the voiceover profession. After years of actors telling her that they weren’t sure how to get into the business and what was expected of them, she took up business consulting and has helped many an actor go from on-camera to behind-the-mic successes.
